I just signed my company up for services, what happens next?
Within 24 hours of signing up, you will receive a welcome packet via email explaining what happens next for your specific company. The Welcome Packet will introduce you to your Accounting Service Provider (ASP) and specify the initial phone meeting date and time with him/her to get your services started.
I placed my order, but didn't receive an order confirmation. What should I do?
If you didn't receive an order confirmation after making the initial payment on our website, you will receive a confirmation via email only if the order was successfully processed. If you don't receive the email confirmation, please complete an Incomplete Order form and send it to us at support@my-expect.com. We'll get back to you as soon as we know what happened.
I haven't heard from my Accounting Service Provider (ASP) yet and it's been a few days since I received my welcome packet. What should I do?
The contact information for your ASP is listed in your welcome packet. Simply reach out to your accountant to get things started.
I get an error that my password is invalid when I try to log in to the portal. What should I do?
If you continue to have problems logging in, send an email to support@my-expect.com detailing the problem you're having and the Support Team will get it taken care of.
I would like to change my current service plan (add or remove services), what do I need to do?
Simply complete the Service Change form and submit it to the Sales Team at sales@my-expect.com.
Our company just signed up a month ago. Can I cancel at any time?
Our cancellation policy is that a company must use the services for at least three (3) months before cancelling. The three (3) months is a "transition period" for your company to get used to using an external source for accounting needs, to understand how Expect works, and for Expect to get familiar with your company and its current processes. If, after the initial three (3) months, you still want to cancel, you may do so by completing a Cancellation of Services form and giving 30 days advanced notice.
Why does it take so long to cancel my services?
Because of the amount of time and effort that goes into getting your company setup when you first signed up and depending on the services you selected, it can take up to 30 days to completely cancel all of your services. Once all services have been cancelled, you will receive a cancellation confirmation email from us.
I recently submitted a Cancellation of Services form. Will my company get a refund?
All payments made by your company were in advance of receiving services each month. When you cancel, that last month's payment will be pro-rated and any refund due will depend on when your cancellation is effective. The effective date is the date your company official designated on the Cancellation of Services form. We will process any refund due during the last two (2) weeks of the 30 day notice period.
